Bulk Items & Other Fees

Trash Taxi can help you get rid of those things that are too big to fit in your trash can.

Accommodating these bulk items can cause us to change our route structure to allow for the extra pickup. Sometimes we have to send another truck, or plan for a trip to a disposal facility to empty our truck. For this reason, we ask that you call our office, or send us a message through our website, to let us know that you need a special pickup.

The pickup fee must be paid before we can pick the item up, so please call us at least two days in advance to ensure that we can service your request.

Here is a list of fees for various items, but always call in because these may vary. Thanks for your consideration!

Due to federal and state hazardous waste regulations, we are unable to dispose of the following items:

  • Refrigerators
  • Freezers
  • Steel
  • Wood
  • Oil
  • Liquid paint
  • Propane tanks, acids, and other combustible materials

If you are throwing out something that others could still use, please consider the following options:

Customers wishing to close an account that is less than a year old may incur a $24.95 can pickup fee. Suspended accounts may be reactivated for $50.

Upon ending of service, the loss of, or failure to furnish cans visibly at service location may result in a fee:

  • 96-gallon container – $150
  • 65-gallon container – $85
  • 35-gallon container – $75
  • 18-gallon container – $45
